Ashwani Kumar Gumber brings 39 years of experience in the gas industry, mainly in Transnational and Cross Country Pipelines, LNG infrastructure, Petrochemicals, LNG & Ethane sourcing and CGD Sector. As HoD, he led the development of Delhi's CGD infrastructure at Indraprastha Gas Limited. As lead member of GAIL’s Business Development division, he managed the business negotiations for Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) and Myanmar - China pipelines and GAIL's entry nto LNG shipping. He represented GAIL on the Board of TAPI Pipeline Company imited. He was also a member of the Project Development team at GAIL responsible for setting up the UP Petrochemical Complex, Pata. Through his numerous overseas business dealings, he brings extensive understanding of Gas business globally. Post his superannuation from GAIL, He has undertaken assignments related to carrying out pay range design and review & writing of Delegation of Powers for a reputed CGD company. He is also assisting a leading Shipbroker for their LNG shipping business. A Mechanical Engg graduate from Thapar Institute of Engg. & Technology, Patiala, his core competencies include Business Development, Project Planning & Management, implementation of greenfield projects, O&M, Logistics and imparting training and development to executives working in Oil & Gas sector.
